With several articles published over the years, I decided to take the next (baby step) and contributed a story that ended up being a chapter in an anthology titled, The Happiness Code; Small Habits ~ Beautiful Life. It was a learning experience and something that definitely involved more than I'd imagined, but I was totally bitten by the writing bug. I'm now in the process of writing my own book which is scheduled for release in the early summer of 2023. I'll be sending out bits and pieces of the book as I get it written so if you're interested, send me an email and I'll add you to the list.
Coach
As a certified Life Coach for nearly 20 years, I've come to understand that how we choose to show up for others makes all the difference. I work with individuals and groups who recognize the importance of relationships, who understand that we're created for connection and who are brave enough to begin showing up in ways that allow others in their lives to feel truly seen and heard. The results of showing in the ways in which I coach are amazing and something special begins to happen. Not only are those around you validated for the amazing people they are but you also begin to be seen differently. Your humanity, your compassion, and yes, your love will shine through so that others see you as the amazing spouse, parent, friend, boss, co-worker, and person you truly are. Lives are changed by how you choose to show up for others and in the process... so is yours.

Hi, i'm Duke
and let's just say that I'm the guy who can definitely share how not to show up for others. Let me explain why I say that. For years I thought everything in my life was okay (which should have an indicator) but by not knowing what it meant to truly show up for my most significant others I failed to recognize how amazing they were. It took a divorce, estranged family, and friends to finally wake me up to the pitfalls of not truly showing up. Most of us cruise through life unintentionally choosing to live by default and it ends up being painful.
What I've come to understand is that there is no greater gift we can give another person than to show up for them in ways that allow them to feel truly seen and heard. And in the process, we're seen in very different and wonderful ways.
With some amazing coaches of my own and the willingness to embrace, it's not about me, I've learned what showing up for others really looks like. It's what I share with those brave souls who are willing to get out of their own way and give it a try.
When I'm not having a coaching conversation, writing, guesting on a podcast, or giving a presentation you'll probably find me outdoors running, biking, playing pickleball, or visiting my kids and grandchildren.
